BMCS organised this event with the Islamic Education and Research Academy (iERA) in Bristol as part of our commitment to educate and inform Muslims about their own faith and heritage, especially in light of modern myths, stereotypes and misconceptions about Islam. The event also aimed to empower local Muslims and inspire them with the confidence to speak about their faith in a logical and calm manner and in the process, overcome barriers of misunderstanding surrounding Muslims and their faith.
The event brought world-class speakers under one roof for the first time in Bristol. The speakers shared their knowledge and experiences in conveying Islam and Muslim culture to others in a positive manner. The event attracted over 500 people, which was the largest ever turnout for a conference of this type in Bristol.
